NAMI Main Line PA will offer “Pathways to Hope”, a free conference on faith
and mental illness on August 23-24. This conference will bring people together to
learn about mental illnesses and treatments from psychiatrists and from people who
will share their first-hand experiences. In addition, we will suggest strategies you
can use to help a person with mental illness, and we will provide information about
local resources for mental health care. Our conference will aim to reduce the
stigma of mental illness and engage faith communities to support people affected
by mental health challenges.
This conference will welcome people of all faiths in person and online. The in-
person component will be at St. James United Church of Christ, 135 Myrtle Ave.,
Havertown, PA 19083. Our program will be from 10 AM – 4 PM on August 23-
24. Lunches will be provided, free of charge.
