NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer support group for adults living with mental illness run and led by NAMI-trained facilitators. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others in a confidential setting.  This group will have in-person meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Zoom Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.  If there is a 5th Tuesday, the meeting will occur on Zoom. Parent Peer Support Group

Our Parent Peer Support Group for parents with a middle school through young adult child suffering from mental illness will meet weekly via Zoom on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 p.m.  The group is facilitated by Nancy Dever and Debbie Gillespie and was previously held at Wayne Presbyterian Church.  The peer support group is designed to be a safe, confidential place to share your experiences and learn from others.  If you are interested in the support group, or for questions, please contact Nancy Dever at psadfacilitator@gmail.com.

Family-to-Family Education Program

Virtual meeting on Zoom

Our next Family-to-Family Education Program will begin on Tuesday, February 6, and will meet weekly on Tuesdays for 8 weeks from 7-9:30 p.m. on Zoom. Family-to-Family (F2F) is a course structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. The course is taught by trained volunteer family members who know what it’s like to have a loved one with a serious mental illness. Registration is Required.  For more information, please contact us at nami.main.line.pa@gmail.com.

Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorders: Challenges and Tips for Families and Friends

The Havertown NAMI Family Support Group is a free, confidential and safe group of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In this support group, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom.
