Parent Peer Support Group

Our Parent Peer Support Group for parents with a middle school through young adult child suffering from mental illness will meet weekly via Zoom on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 p.m.  The group is facilitated by Nancy Dever and Debbie Gillespie and was previously held at Wayne Presbyterian Church.  The peer support group is designed to be a safe, confidential place to share your experiences and learn from others.  If you are interested in the support group, or for questions, please contact Nancy Dever at psadfacilitator@gmail.com.

Wellness Chat for Family-to-Family Graduates

Virtual meeting on Zoom

Havertown NAMI Family Support Group

The Havertown NAMI Family Support Group is a free, confidential and safe group of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In this support group, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer support group for adults living with mental illness run and led by NAMI-trained facilitators. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others in a confidential setting.  This group will have in-person meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Zoom Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.  If there is a 5th Tuesday, the meeting will occur on Zoom. Media NAMI Family Member Support Group

Lima United Methodist Church 209 N. Middletown Road (Rt. 352), Media, PA, United States

Our Media NAMI Family Member Support Group will meet on the third Thursday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m. at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Road (Rt. 352) in Media, PA. This is a confidential, and safe group of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. This support group meets virtually and in-person simultaneously. Yoga for Well-being

When we are presented with challenges to our mental health and that of our loved ones, it can create stress and anxiety, not only in our minds, but also in in our bodies. Yoga offers a whole body-mind experience that can help. Helene Von Rosenstiel will offer a chair and standing yoga sequence. The foundation of yoga is learning how our breath supports us and can help keep us grounded and centered— the poses in yoga help to increase flexibility and enhance easeful movement in the body.
