NAMI Family-to-Family, a free, eight-session educational program for family members of individuals with mental illness, will begin on Wednesday, April 30, and will meet once a week for 8 weeks from 7-9:30 p.m. in Wynnewood. This program is structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. Our Media NAMI Family Member Support Group is a confidential, and safe group of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, March 20, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Road (Rt. 352) in Media, PA. Our NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group for adults living with mental illness meets on Tuesday evenings. Phase 2 Trial Open Enrollment for SPG302: First Synaptic Regenerative Approach to Treat Schizophrenia
At the end of March, Spinogenix announced open enrollment for its phase 2 trial of SPG302 for the treatment of individuals with schizophrenia, following clearance of its Investigational New Drug (IND) application by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
PG302 is a once-a-day pill being developed as the first synaptic regenerative approach to treat schizophrenia with the potential to improve outcomes across all symptom domains. Click here for more information.
