Wynnewood Family-to-Family Now Enrolling

Family-to-Family (F2F) at the LANKENAU Medical Center in Wynnewood will begin in early March. F2F is a free 8-week course structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. The course is taught by trained volunteer family members who know what it’s like to have a loved one with a serious mental illness. Registration is Required. Corporate Wellness Workshop

Minding Your Mind is offering a Corporate Wellness Workshop on Wednesday, February 19, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at The Shipley School Beechwood House in Bryn Mawr (1030 Wyndon Ave.). Learn about Minding You Mind’s Corporate Wellness Program and the benefits that your company can realize by coaching your employees about mental health issues, reducing the stigma around seeking help, and creating an environment of advocacy and understanding in your workplace. Winter and Spring NAMI Main Line Events

NAMI Main Line Support Groups Meeting Next Week

Our Havertown NAMI Family Member Support Group will meet next Tuesday, February 18, from 7-8:30 p.m.

Our NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group for adults living with mental illness meets on Tuesday evenings.

Our Parent Peer Support Group for parents with a middle school through young adult child who is challenged with mental health symptoms meets on Wednesdays from 6:45-8:15 p.m. 

Other Upcoming Events

NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania’s fourth annual Child and Adolescent Mental Health Conference will take place on Friday, February 28, 2020, at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. The conference, “Resilient Youth: Strategies to Overcome Adversity,” is one of the only events in the region specializing in youth mental health. Participants from all over the country attend to learn about the newest research and best practices to assist and advance the mental health needs of young children, adolescents, and young adults.The conference is geared toward parents and caregivers, mental health professionals, educators, and students.
