Upcoming NAMI Main Line Programs and Support Groups

Registration is now open for our summer Family-to-Family course. Family-to-Family, a course structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being, will begin on Monday, June 30, and will meet virtually once a week for 8 weeks from 6-8:30 p.m. The course is facilitated by trained volunteer family members who know what it’s like to have a loved one with a serious mental illness.Family-to-Family is offered as a community service without charge. Registration is required. Our NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group, a free, peer support group for adults living with mental illness, will meet on Tuesday, May 27, from 7-8:30 p.m. This group has in-person meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Zoom Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month. For more information, please contact Danielle Sulpizio at dsulpizio@namimainlinepa.org.

Our Parent Peer Support Group for parents with a middle school through young adult who is challenged with mental health symptoms meets virtually on May 28, from 6:45-8:15 p.m. The peer support group is designed to be a safe, confidential place to share your experiences and learn from others.  If you are interested in the support group, or for questions, please contact Nancy Dever at psadfacilitator@gmail.com.
