We’re pleased to highlight two upcoming NAMI Main Line PA programs designed to provide support, practical skills, connection, and hope for individuals and families in our community. We invite you to learn more about these free programs and share them with anyone who may benefit from participating.
Stay Well, Build Your Skills is free online wellness group for teens in grades 8-12. In this group, teens will learn skills to manage emotions, manifest calm, and cope with academic, social and community stresses. This group will meet every other Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. beginning on September 24, 2026. The first half of each meeting will consist of an open support group and the second half will consist of facilitator-led mental health skill-building. Click here for more information and to register.
We are grateful to partner with Jack Duffy Empowerment Foundation to offer Breaking the Silence of Suicide: Awareness, Understanding, and Hope on Sunday, September 27, from 3-5 p.m. at St. James United Church of Christ (135 Myrtle Ave., Havertown, PA 19083). If you, or someone you care about, has been impacted by suicide through suicide loss, a suicide attempt, or suicidal thoughts—there is a place for you at this free program.
We recognize the isolation, grief, fear, and other complex emotions that can accompany experiences related to suicide. Through personal stories, clinical perspectives, and trusted mental health resource sharing, this program will provide a supportive space to increase understanding, foster connection, and offer practical information and hope. Please contact Lisa P. with any questions. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register today.
