Save the Date for Giving Voice to the “Other” Sibling on May 31

Register today for our spring panel presentation, Giving Voice to the “Other” Sibling, on Sunday, May 31, from 2-4 p.m. on Zoom. Join us for this virtual presentation that gently unveils the experiences of siblings of individuals living with mental illness. Their stories, often softly spoken in the background, reveal not only quiet resilience but also profound wisdom and unique perspective within the family tapestry. While attention frequently focuses on the diagnosed individual and caregiving parents, these brothers and sisters have carried unspoken responsibilities, grief, and a sense of being both essential and yet unseen. Through authentic stories, you’ll hear how these siblings adapt while managing complex emotions, and the lasting impact on their identity and relationships. By bearing witness together, we make space for healing and nurture a more inclusive, compassionate understanding of mental illness. Click here or click on the flyer below to register. Please contact us at office@namimainlinepa.org or 267-251-6240 for more information or questions.
