Learning to Communicate with Your Mentally Ill Loved One, facilitated by Sarah Freudberg and Ingrid Waldron, will be on Sunday, April 28, from 2-4 p.m. at Ardmore Presbyterian Church (5 W. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore, PA, 19003). 

Our NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings in Bryn Mawr.  

Our Parent Peer Support Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 p.m. in Wayne.

BUILD T/E is hosting “Parenting Kids with Anxiety, U Got This!” on Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at Valley Forge Middle School. Expert speaker Kim Zahlaway, LCSW will discuss why we are experiencing a surge in anxiety and practical strategies parents can use to help their children. For free tickets, click here.

On March 28, Mental Health Partnerships will host an advanced screening of Emilio Estevez’ new film, The Public! This heartwarming film explores challenges surrounding homelessness, mental health and community. Mental Health Partnerships’ Getting Off the Emotional Roller Coaster Workshop will begin on Thursday, April 4, and meeting once a week for 10 weeks from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Belmont Behavioral Hospital. This is a skill building workshop for families and friends of people with bipolar disorder, major depression or borderline personality disorder. In the workshop, you will learn about these disorders as well as the skills of self-care, validation, limit setting and crisis management. Free if you or your loved one live in Philadelphia. Fees apply if you or your loved one do not live in Philadelphia. Registration is required. Lobby Day in Harrisburg

Join NAMI Main Line PA and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America on Monday, April 8 for a Lobby Day in Harrisburg to support Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) legislation, SB 90. Rally in the Main Capitol Rotunda 9:30-10:30 a.m. Hear from speakers including advocates, legislators and survivors. ERPO Laws can help prevent gun suicide.
