Our fifth annual 5k walk and mental health resource program, Main Line NAMI on the Move – Stepping Up for Mental Health, on Saturday, October 19, was a huge success! Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, sponsors and donors, we raised more than $50,000 – our most successful walk yet!
This year NAMI Main Line PA celebrated 40 years of grass roots, volunteer-driven service to the greater Philadelphia area offering a wide range of free services and outreach that now touch over 2,000 individuals annually.
One of the primary sources of funding for our work comes from our annual walk to raise awareness of mental health issues and the resources that are available for finding help and hope. This year’s walk was a family-friendly community event featuring a short inspirational program, a Mental Health Resources Fair and refreshments.
Please check back in early 2020 for more information about our next walk – we need your help to make our 2020 walk another wonderful community-building and fundraising event.
Please contact Kristine for more information about how you can help at Kristine@NAMIMainLinePA.org.
Thank you to our generous 2019 sponsors!
