NAMI PA, Main Line News and Offerings
NAMI PA, Main Line will be offering two sessions of Family-to-Family (F2F) this fall. Family-to-Family is a course structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being.
- Family-to-Family at LANKENAU Medical Center in Wynnewood will begin in mid-September (date to be posted), and will meet once a week for 12 consecutive weeks from 7-9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. For questions or to register, contact Judy Green at 610-668-7917 or F2FMainLine@aol.com.

Feature of the Week: Problem Solving as a Wellness Tool
NAMI Bucks County will be offering multiple NAMI Homefront online classes starting the evenings of July 24, 25, 26, 27. NAMI Homefront is a free, six-session class for family, friends and significant others of Military Service Members and Veterans. The class helps families comprehend what the Military Service Member/Veteran is experiencing related to trauma, combat stress, civilian life, PTSD and other mental health conditions. The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. To learn more and register, visit www.nami.org/homefront.
The Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion invites you to join us on campus July 24-25 in Philadelphia to discuss state-of-the-science research related to individuals with mental illnesses and community inclusion. The Collaborative’s 2017 Summer Institute draws on more than a dozen years of sound research and partnerships with mental health policy-makers, consumers, family, program managers, and direct service practitioners.
