New Resource Available

The recording of our recent “Giving Voice to the ‘Other’ Sibling” panel is now available at https://youtu.be/99xVgLhGJkY.

This powerful virtual panel highlights the often-overlooked experiences of siblings of individuals living with mental illness.

Through authentic storytelling, this session explores:

  • The emotional complexity of sibling experiences
  • Unspoken responsibilities and identity challenges
  • Resilience, growth, and healing

By bearing witness together, we can create space for healing and nurture a more inclusive, compassionate understanding of mental illness.

Moderated by Judy Green, NAMI Main Line PA Board Member, Family-to-Famliy (F2F) Facilitator, and PA State Trainer

Focus Group Participants Needed:

Temple University Collaborative (www.tucollaborative.org) examines community living and participation of people with serious mental illnesses, including employment, education, engagement in faith communities, volunteering, and friend and family relationships.

Family members and other caregivers play a huge role in the lives of people with serious mental illnesses. They believe that it is essential to get their opinions on this important topic. This June, they are hosting three focus groups (over Zoom) where family members can share their thoughts and experiences around their loved ones’ participation in everyday life to help inform training resources and advocacy tools that will be developed from the findings. Participants will receive a $30 e-gift card for their time in the focus group. Click here for more information. For questions or to participate, contact the Collaborative at (215) 204-4330 or participationstudy@temple.edu.
