Support Groups

We offer the Bryn Mawr Family Member Support Group, the Havertown NAMI Family Support Group and the Parent Peer Support Group for family members of loved ones who have a mental illness.  We also offer the NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group for individuals with mental health conditions and the Wellness Chats for Family-to-Family Graduates.

The Bryn Mawr Family Member Support Group meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.  If you have a family member or loved one with mental illness and are interested in this support group, please contact Diane at for more information.

The Havertown NAMI Family Support Group is a free, confidential and safe group of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In this support group, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family members can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges.  The group meets on  the first and third Tuesdays of every month, from 7-8:30 p.m. on Zoom.  For more information, please contact Nora at

The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer support group for adults living with mental illness run and led by NAMI-trained facilitators. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others in a confidential setting.  NAMI Connection meets weekly on Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons on Zoom.  For more information on the location and time of our meetings, please contact Danielle Sulpizio at (484) 880-0660 or Ed Kane at (484) 744-0860.

The Parent Peer Support Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 p.m. for parents with a middle school through young adult child who is challenged with mental health symptoms.  The peer support group is designed to be a safe, confidential place to share your experiences and learn from others. The group is facilitated by Nancy Dever and Debbie Gillespie and will meet on Zoom. For questions or to RSVP, contact Nancy Dever at or text 610-574-3319 to set up a time to talk.

Judy Green, Family-to-Family (F2F) facilitator, and Nancy Helfman, former F2F participant, invite F2F “graduates” of the program to join their Wellness Chat for Family-to-Family Graduates.  Wellness chats typically take place twice monthly at 7 p.m. Please contact Judy at for the upcoming meeting information.
