Dear Family and Friends,

I’m writing to ask your support for my participation in Main Line NAMI on the Move – Stepping out for Mental Health Awareness. This walk, in Bryn Mawr on May 21st, is sponsored by NAMI PA, Main Line, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Please join me and many other committed individuals in this effort to raise awareness of the symptoms and causes of mental illness, the services and resources available for individuals with mental illness and their family members, and the need for better treatment and more supportive services. Mental illness affects many families in our community, including some of our friends, neighbors and coworkers, although many will not mention a mental illness because of stigma.

For over 30 years, Main Line NAMI has provided free education and support programs for individuals with mental illness and their families on the Main Line. Main Line NAMI activities have also included advocacy and educational outreach. The money raised by Main Line NAMI on the Move will be put to work to support Main Line NAMI’s activities to provide help and hope to those in need.

I hope you will help us today by making a tax-deductible contribution to NAMI PA, Main Line. Any amount is appreciated. To support me as a walker in this event, please go to https://namimainlinepa.org/main-line-nami-on-the-move-donations/, choose your donation amount, and enter my name in the box provided. If you would like to register to be a walker in Main Line NAMI on the Move, Saturday morning, May 21st, please contact Kristine at Kristine@NAMIpaMainLine.org.

Thank you for your support,
