Position Title: Part-time Coordinator of Education and Support

General Duties: To lead the planning, execution, administration, and evaluation of NAMI Signature Education Programs, including Family-to-Family, NAMI Basics, and Peer-to-Peer; build strategic relationships within the community; conduct a variety of outreach activities, including specific outreach to law enforcement agencies and churches within our service area; and lead or participate in Community Outreach and Affiliate Programming committee meetings.

Responsibilities:

 1. Education Programs

  • Create an annual plan for NAMI Signature Program delivery (5 or more programs must be offered per calendar year in 2024 and 2025).
  • Organize program logistics, including identifying in-person meeting locations in our service area (Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County as well as all of Delaware County).
  • Develop a plan to recruit, train and utilize program facilitators/volunteers in cooperation with Affiliate Coordinator and Board members.
  • Attend monthly or quarterly NAMI Education Program/technical support calls.
  • Prepare a list of supplies required for program delivery and submit purchase requests to Affiliate Coordinator.
  • Prepare reports of your activities.

2. Community Outreach

  • Create a six-month outreach plan for outreach to all law enforcement agencies and some churches in our service area, including developing a list of contact information for each agency.
  • Develop and organize outreach packets and materials (with input from the Affiliate Coordinator).
  • Meet in person with each law enforcement agency to deliver informational materials and discuss our services.
  • Attend relevant community meetings as needed.
  • Organize and schedule outreach presentations in the community (What is NAMI?).
  • Cultivate new relationships and maintain existing relationships with community partners.
  • Attend community outreach events, including tabling, and coordinate additional volunteer coverage for these events.
  • Prepare reports of your activities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Outgoing and engaging personality with confidence to interact face to face with community partners
  • Knowledge and experience with organizing volunteers
  • Ability to prepare and present reports on education and outreach activities, to track and assess progress and address program deficiencies as they occur.
  • Ability to use email effectively and to use Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite with ease.
  • Reliable transportation (mileage to and from meetings will be reimbursed)

 

Rate of Pay:  $25/hour                  Number of Hours/Week:  16 hours/week

Position Title: Part-time Marketing Coordinator

General Duties: To develop, execute, and measure strategic marketing and communications plans to promote NAMI Main Line PA’s general services, quarterly and special events/fundraisers, and NAMI Signature Education Programs in our service area (Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County and all of Delaware County) primarily on social media, with extra emphasis placed on publicizing our offerings widely in our expanded service area in Delaware County.  The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated, while providing an engaging approach to NAMI Main Line programs marketing.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Generating ideas that align with NAMI branding and NAMI’s Identity Guide.
  • Developing social media posts for use on Instagram, Facebook, X, and possibly LinkedIn that promote NAMI Main Line’s services, events and Signature Education Programs. Proposed posts will be reviewed by Affiliate Coordinator prior to posting.
  • Expanding and updating NAMI Main Line’s social media channels.
  • Posting approved content on NAMI Main Line’s social media channels.
  • Developing success metrics, organizing performance data, and providing monthly reports on marketing campaigns/posts for each platform.
  • Developing and maintaining lists for appropriate customer segments for use in marketing campaigns.
  • Providing quality assurance on marketing materials.
  • Cross-posting marketing materials on virtual community event calendars.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to prepare and present reports on marketing activities, to track and assess progress and address deficiencies as they occur.
  • Ability to use email effectively and to use Microsoft/Google Suite and/or design software/websites such as Canva or Adobe InDesign with ease.
  • Knowledge of or experience in marketing or public relations desirable but not required.

Rate of Pay:  $25/hour                  Number of Hours/Week:  5 hours/week
