Our Havertown NAMI Family Support Group will meet on Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Please contact Nora for more information.
Our Parent Peer Support Group for parents with a middle school through young adult child will meet remotely on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in the support group, please email Nancy as this is how she will communicate how the group will connect each week.
Our NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group for adults living with mental illness on Tuesday evenings will be meeting remotely. Please contact Danielle Sulpizio at (484) 880-0660 or Ed Kane at (484) 744-0860 for more information.

Join Us for Twice Weekly Wellness Chats
NAMI Main Line is offering Wellness Chats – a place FOR ANYONE – to come together virtually to share how you are handling your wellness and challenges, while we are practicing social distancing. Wellness chats will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6 p.m.

Teens, Tweens & Quarantines Webinar
Join Jon Mattleman & Minding Your Mind on Tuesday, April 21, from 7-8 p.m. for a live presentation of “Teens, Tweens & Quarantines” via Zoom! “Teens, Tweens & Quarantines” is a presentation for parents and caregivers, focusing on the impact of COVID-19 on our children. In a dynamic fashion, this talk will address the teen/tween brain, explain why this pandemic is so difficult for this age group, survey the process of loss, discuss issues related to independence, autonomy, and privacy, and offer perspectives and suggestions that parents and caregivers can implement immediately. 24/7 Statewide Support and Referral Helpline Available
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services has launched a statewide Support and Referral Helpline that is available 24/7 to assist Pennsylvanians experiencing challenging emotions due to the COVID-19 emergency. The Helpline is available at 855-284-2494.

Ask the Experts Will Be Offered Online May 3
Our Main Line NAMI Interactive Forum: Ask the Experts, scheduled for Sunday, May 3, from 2-4 p.m., will meet virtually using Zoom. Our panel will answer your questions about mental illness, treatments, community supports, and related topics. Our experts will include:
- Dr. Larry Real, Medical Director at Horizon House and Director of the University of Pennsylvania’s Community Psychiatry Fellowship program
- Kathy Laws, Program Manager of the Montgomery County Family and Youth Division for Mental Health Partnerships, where she leads the Family Mentor and Advocacy Network, as well as the Family Empowerment and Satisfaction Team
- Michael Harper, Esq., lawyer and advocate
